India Wins Third ODI by Huge Margin of 142 Runs, Completes Series Clean Sweep

With the help of a century from Shubman Gill and half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, Team India posted a mammoth total of 356 runs in the third ODI. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India. Rohit Sharma was dismissed early, on the second ball he faced. Virat Kohli then joined Gill, and together they added 116 runs for the second wicket. Virat Kohli scored 52 from 55 balls, including 7 fours and one six, before being dismissed by Adil Rashid. Shreyas Iyer played aggressively, scoring 78 from 64 balls, with 8 fours and 2 sixes. India set a daunting target of 357 for England to win the match.
England got off to a decent start with a 60-run partnership between Phil Salt and Ben Duckett. However, none of the batsmen were able to score big enough to chase down the target. Tom Banton and Gus Atkinson both scored 38 runs each, but that wasn’t enough. England’s innings ended at 214, and India won the match by 142 runs, completing a clean sweep of the series 3-0.
